Timascus rings are the result of hours of hard work forging Titanium alloys together under heat and pressure. After they have been forged, they are then shaped into a rod and twisted multiple times, giving you that folded line pattern. This forms the lines that you can see in all Timascus wedding bands.
When heat is applied at the end stages of the rings creation, the Titanium alloys react to the heat. During this reaction, those alloys produce a variety of different hues and colors, giving the bands their colorway and pattern.
Due to their Titanium composition, our Timascus bands are nearly impervious to damage, scratching and corrosion.
Back in the last 1700s, in the sleepy English town of Cornwall, William Gregor discovered the metal inside a mineral deposit in the Manaccan valley. After a brief dispute with another scientist who claimed to find it at the same time, the decision ultimately fell to Gregor, who was credited for the discovery. The name, however, remained "Titanium," which was the name the other scientist, Martin Klaproth, had given the discovery.
He had named the material Titanium after the Titan Greek Gods of Mythology, due to the strength and durability of the material.
It took a long time after the discovery of Titanium, however, for humanity to figure out how to best work with this godly material. In 1932, William Justin Kroll finally figured it out. You can't just roll Titanium out and shape it like other materials often used in wedding rings, and Titanium requires unique processes to turn it into its metal form. Kroll's processes are still used today.
Thanks to Titaniums strength, which is pound for pound, the strongest material used in jewelry, wedding rings made with either Timascus or Damascus steel are seeing a massive surge in popularity. Men want a ring that is as tough as they are, a ring that can handle the day to day tasks of life.
Timascus doesn't bend or scratch easily, and thanks to its Titanium heritage, you don't have to worry about ruining your ring while earning a living. The hard-wear aspect of a Timascus wedding ring and the lightweight material make it a perfect choice for hard-working men who use their hands to create, build, and destroy.
Every Timascus wedding ring is also Hypoallergenic, so it is the perfect choice for those who cannot buy a dull average ring due to their allergies. We think this is a good thing, a Timascus wedding ring is way cooler, after all.
Compared to Gold and Silver, a Timascus wedding ring will shine just as brightly. They also have zero chance of giving you that dreaded "Green Finger" due to their low chemical reactivity. This makes a Timascus wedding ring the perfect option for those that want a lightweight, durable ring that looks as good as any Gold or Silver wedding ring.
While working in Titanium is costly, the cost of TitaniumTitanium at source is cheaper than Gold or Silver, too, meaning that your Timascus wedding ring won't cost the earth.
Buck the trend, don't buy a mass-produced wedding ring, churned out by massive jewelry corporations. By choosing a Timascus wedding ring from our collection, you are guaranteed to receive an individual product. No other ring is going to look like yours.
Even though Timascus is one of the newest materials used in the wedding ring market, don't let that put you off. A Timascus ring can come in a range of colors and designs and offers strength and durability unmatched by any traditional Gold and Silver ring.

Your wedding ring is a piece of jewelry created to showcase your love for each other. If you look after your ring correctly, it should last you a lifetime, or longer, if you plan to pass your rings on to future generations.
There are several pieces of advice we give when it comes to looking after your new ring. By following these tips, you will ensure the longevity of your ring, as well as keeping it clean and looking as good as the day you bought it.
A little bit of soapy water can go a long way. Every time you are doing the dishes at home, give your ring a quick scrub. Every once in a while, you should get a toothbrush and give it a proper scrub too. It is surprising how much muck you might be able to clean off.
Luckily for you, your Timascus wedding ring is made partly of Titanium. This means that it shouldn't scratch like other pieces of jewelry does. You do, however, need to be careful of the other jewelry you store your ring with, as they may get damaged by your sturdy ring. This happens a lot when you use storage like ring holders, which force your rings to rub together.
